Lake Newell |
|
Lake Newell is located about 10 kilometers south of Brooks, Alberta - it is one of the largest man-made lakes in Canada. During the summer months people come from all over to enjoy a weekend camping and laying in the sun at Kinbrook Island Provincial Park, which is located on the edge of Lake Newell. Each winter a fishing derby is held on the lake. Lake Newell provides many hours of recreation for the residence of the area. |
